PRIVACY POLICY

(hereinafter: “the website“; “The Firm” and/or “Seligsohn Gabrieli” according to the context), owned by The Firm, respects the privacy of visitors to the website (the term “visitors” includes registrants to events or webinars which may be published and performed through or in association with the website and/or recipients of newsletters which may be sent by The Firm through it). The following terms detail the privacy policy customary in the website, and inter alia clarify what is the information which is stored in the data base of The Firm; the way in which The Firm collects information regarding the visitors of the website; and the way in which we use the information given to us by the visitors of the website, all in order to preserve the protection of privacy of the visitors of the website.

It is clarified that the terms of the privacy policy detailed below constitute an integral part of the Terms of Use of the website, and that the meaning of all the definitions in the privacy policy will be as they are defined in the Terms of Use of the website, and all except if the context of the words dictates otherwise.

The provisions of the privacy policy may be changed from time to time by the website. If a fundamental change is made in the provisions of the privacy policy, it will be published in an appropriate notice in the website.

1. Details you will provide when registering for services which require registration for the website

In order to use certain services offered in the website, you will have to register in the website. During the registration, you will be asked to provide personal details such as name, ways of communication including telephone number and e-mail address, details about your place of work etc. It is made clear that those fields which the registrants are obliged to fill in, will be specifically marked and the users will not be able to complete the registration process without giving the required data in the obligatory fields.

At the time of the registration to the website, you must specifically indicate in the appropriate place that you are not interested in being included in the list of participants/recipients of the website and its proposed activities such as events’ webinars’ newsletters etc (Hereinafter: “The List of registrants” ). It is made clear that your confirmation to be included in the search engine of in the The List of registrants in the website constitutes consent to use of the details you provided about yourselves, including the possibly of contacting you via the website, by The Firm or its managers or the of the managers of the website and also any potential employer who will be given access permission to the search engine in the website.

2. Our data base – collection and use of information

It is made clear that the details you provide at the time of registration for the website and/or afterwards, including details you provide for the purpose of registering for various events of The Firm, details provided by you at the time of registration for webinars etc., will be stored in the data base of The Firm. Please note that you are not required by law to provide such details, but if you decide not to provide them, you will not be able to use some of the services offered in the website. It is also made clear that additional information about you and your various preferences might be accumulated during your visit(s) to the website, and that this information will also be stored in the data base of The Firm.

Use of the information located in the data base of The Firm will be in accordance with the law and according to the provisions of this privacy policy, and all for the following purposes:

a. The collection of information required for the purpose of the proper operation and development of the website. This information will not be forwarded to third parties, except in accordance with the provisions of the privacy policy of the website.

b. The collection of information which in the opinion of The Firm is relevant and required for the purpose of understanding the needs of visitors who attended events and the improvement of the services offered to them.

c. The collection of information for the purpose of contacting you if needed and/or in a case where you requested it specifically when you registered in the website for one of the services offered therein, including when you agreed to be included in the search engine of the website, when registering for events etc.

d. The collection of information for any other purpose, and all as detailed in the privacy policy or in the terms of use of the various services offered from time to time in the website.

3. Non-transfer of information to third parties

The Firm undertakes not to transfer to third parties your personal details, including information collected about you from your visit(s) to the website (hereinafter: “personal information”), except in the following cases:

Giving personal information to the managers, sub-contractors, volunteers or employees of The Firm and those who act on their behalf, who have permission to access the data bases of The Firm, and all for the purpose of verifying your identity and providing services to visitors of the website, including contacting you in order to provide you with information regarding various activities relevant to you.

b. Giving personal information for the purpose of maintaining contact with you in a case where you have consented to this, for instance when registering for events.

c. Giving personal information to third parties in a case where the services given by The Firm are provided in cooperation with them and which requires the transferring of the said information.

d. Giving personal information in the case where The Firm is obliged to do so by law or in the case where a legal injunction is given ordering The Firm to provide the said information.

e. Giving personal information if any controversy, requirement or legal procedure arises between The Firm and visitors of the website.

f. Giving personal information in order to prevent damage which might be caused to visitors, including for the purpose of preventing and/or discovering illegal acts.

4. Information you will provide on platforms outside the website – services of third parties

Some of the services offered in the website are offered to you via computer systems of third parties who cooperate, one way or another, with The Firm (for instance, registration for webinars). During the carrying out of actions in the said services, you will need to provide personal details in order to receive the service, or information about you will be collected. Use of the information collected about you, whether directly or indirectly, will be done in accordance with the provisions of the Terms of Use and provisions of the privacy policy of the third parties. Therefore we recommend that you read carefully the provisions of the Terms of Use and their privacy policy.

The website uses cookies for the purpose of its regular and proper operation, including the need to collect data about the use made of the website by the visitors and verification of their details, and all in order to make the website secure, accessible and more suited to the needs of the users. Use of the cookie files and/or information collected with their help will be done in accordance with the conditions of the privacy policy of the website.

7. Right to Peruse Information

According to Section 13 of the Protection of Privacy Law-1981 (hereinafter: “the Law”), any persons entitled, by themselves, or by their representative which they have appointed in writing or by their guardian(s), to review information pertaining to them held in the data base. Persons who have reviewed the data pertaining to them and found it to be incorrect, unclear or outdated, are entitled to contact the owner of the data base with a request to correct the information or delete it. If the owners of the data base refuse to accede to said request, they must inform the requester accordingly in a manner and way fixed in the Regulations of Protection of Privacy (Conditions for Inspection of Data and Procedures for Appeal Regarding a Denial of a Request to Inspect)-1981 (hereinafter: “the Regulations”). If the owners of the data base refuse to allow inspection and to correct or delete information, the requester of the information is entitled to file a lawsuit to the Court, in a manner and way fixed in the Regulations.
